Anzac Day Parade Brisbane 2020 | | Saturday, 25. April 2020

The Anzac Day Parade Brisbane has it's 104th anniversary on 25 April 2020 having been the commemorated continuously from the first Anzac Day in 1916. No tickets are required to spectate at this family event.

The event is held annually for the citizens of Queensland to recognise the sacrifice of those members of the Australian Defence Force who have not returned from wars and conflicts encompassing the Boer War through to modern operations such as Iraq and Afghanistan. Those veterans, both retired and still serving, march to receive the thanks of the citizens of Queensland, and visitors to the region, as well as honour the memory of comrades who have not returned or have since passed.

The 2020 Anzac Day Parade Brisbane will recognise the 75 years since the of the end of World War II hostilities(Anniversary: 2nd September).

The best position to view the Parade is on Adelaide Street, between George and Creek Streets. A restricted parade participation can be viewed from George and Creek Street positions. The Parade runs between 10am and 12:30pm. Vehicle movement will be restricted within the Central Business District from 2am to 2pm to encompass the preceding Dawn Service.
