Panel: The Climate for Action - QUT Sustainability Week | QUT Gardens Point Campus | Friday, 13. September 2019

Completely new to activism or interested in the climate justice movement? Or maybe you've been around for a little while? No matter, this event is for you!
We welcome you to join the QUT Environment Collective and array of panelists for a night centred around Climate Justice and Activism. Hear from speakers addressing youth climate activism, regenerative agriculture, direct action, civil disobedience and an international guest speaker addressing climate activism in Germany. Join us for a night of listening, learning, asking questions and connecting with community.
Monday to Friday of sustainability week will see us Grow, Eat, Make, and Act. The panel is on the Friday on our very own day of ‘Action’, and will be centred around engaging students and the wider QUT community with issues surrounding Climate Change and sustainability and the specific issues Australia faces. The goal of the evening is to share knowledge, discuss solutions and encourage people to act in different areas of their lives to **** up to the climate crisis.
Students, staff and general public all welcome!
