The Centre for Advanced sensory science welcomes you to attend their upcoming seminar on 'The Importance of Texture for Food and Health'.
Prof. Russell Keast - Deakin Univeristy, Centre for Advanced Sensory Science
Prof. Carolyn Ross - Washing State University
Prof. Ciaran Forde - National University of Singapore
Following the seminar guests will have the opprtunity to have a tour of Deakin University's state-of-the-art laboratories, including our sensory, analaytical, exercise and food laboratories.

Lab tour (optional): 12:00pm-1:00pm.
Who should attend?
We welcome anyone with an interest in the topic to attend. We also encourage academics and students in the food science/ nutrition field, along with our food industry partners.
This is a free event.
Please make sure you RSVP to ensure you are catered for.
Getting to Deakin:
Card-only pay by plate (vehicle registration) machines have been installed on the Burwood campus. These user friendly machines accept Visa and MasterCard debit and credit cards so you won’t be scratching around for loose change.
Cost: $1.60 per hour or $6.40 for the day.
Note: The closest parking bay to Burwood Corporate Centre is 'CP1' and 'CP5'.
