Introduction to Single-Cell RNA sequencing (10x Genomics) | Seminar Room 3170 | Friday, 28. June 2019

Synopsis: This course introduces researchers to single-cell RNA sequencing analysis, in particular with the 10X Genomics Chromium system. Participants will learn to use 10X Genomic's Cell Ranger pipeline on the Artemis HPC to pre-process and analyse their sequencing data. Participants will then visualize their results in 10X Genomic's Loupe Cell Browser.
Read more about single-cell RNA-sequencing with 10X Genomics here: https://www.10xgenomics.com/single-cell-technology/
Users will need to install a terminal client and the Loupe Cell browser on their laptop. This will be covered on the day in the course.
Target audience: Researchers in the genetics/genomics field who are interested in bioinformatics analysis.
