ACT Professional Engineers AGM & End of Year Function | 13 Moore St | Thursday, 14. November 2019

Come close out the year with engineer colleagues from across the ACT, good food, a few drinks, and great company.
This evening will be run in two parts. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will commence at 6:00 PM with the End of Year function set to commence at 6:30 PM.
The ACT’s Chief Engineer Adrian Piani will be on hand to speak about his new role and his vision for how it can help elevate the engineering profession in the ACT. Professionals Australia were instrumental in establishing the Chief Engineer position, so we are very glad to have Adrian joining us.
And, with so much discussion happing at the moment about engineer registration and building reform, we’ll be joined by Professionals Australia’s  RPEng Coordinator Kaylene Scott. Kaylene works in our Queensland branch as a key facilitator working with organisations to register their engineers under Queensland’s compulsory registration system. She’ll be well placed to talk to us about the finer detail of how the registration scheme in QLD works, and how it could work in the ACT.
Tickets are free and open to current members of Professionals Australia and those considering joining, so please bring along your colleagues. Discounted memberships will be offered at the door.
RSVP by Friday 8 November for catering purposes.
