It's Time to Do Less | WOTSO WorkSpace | Saturday, 05. October 2019

Do you feel like you’re constantly running on empty?

Do you have a love/hate relationship with being busy?

Do you feel pressure to be“on”all the time?

Do you strive for perfection in all areas of your life, but feel like you’re never really getting it?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, the It’s Time To Do Less Workshop is for you! We’ve been brought up in a world where being busy is held in the highest regard. If you’re rushing around all the time, juggling way too many ***** and feeling the busy-burn, you’re considered a hard worker. And being a hard-worker is ingrained in most of us as a sign of success. This is why when someone says, “How are you?”, our response is often, “Busy!”, in some form or another. We respond without even thinking about the stories we’re telling ourselves. But what if we flipped the switch and instead of focusing on how busy we are and how many things we can get done at once, we take a step back and consider the value of being productive instead? When you’re productive, you’re actually getting ****t done, not just rushing around and relying on adrenaline to get you to the finish line. When you’re productive, you feel calmer and more in control. Sound too good to be true? We don’t blame you. We felt that way, too. In this workshop, we’ll share the techniques we’re using ourselves, as well as real life stories from us and our clients. We’ll talk about how doing less can actually produce higher quality, well-thought-out results, while you remain calm, energised and avoid burning out. We’ll be walking you through some tried and tested theories that will help you to understand how “doing less” can actually allow you to get more done. And we’ll help you to develop an actionable plan about how you can implement these ideas in all areas of your life. This thought-provoking workshop will encourage you to think about your addiction to being busy, where you’re expending energy unnecessarily and how you can come to terms with the fact that you aren’t Superwoman (sorry to break it to you). We’ll instil in you our new mantra, “It’s time to do less” and will share some simple strategies to overcome the perfectionistic tendencies that are straining your brain and preventing you from living your best life. Here are some words from a client who we worked through this content with in 1:1 coaching: “I (was) hoping to get some more direction and certainty for my career. What I got was a whole life makeover! Over three sessions, Bec helped me focus my attention on not just career satisfaction, but life satisfaction. I finished my sessions with more confidence, clarity and most importantly calmness about my career and work life balance.”We’d love for you to join us for this practical workshop, where we’ll create a comfortable, relaxing and welcoming environment for you to share your insights with the group, or keep them locked up tight in your workbook - it’s up to you! Feel free to come alone and make some new connections, or bring a friend. Either way, we’re sure you’ll enjoy the event and may even have some aha moments to take away with you.
