Design Decisions to Meet 2019 Energy Provisions for Residential Buildings
Proposed energy efficiency changes will be implemented in NCC 2019 for both residential and non-residential buildings. This webinar will focus solely on those changes impacting residential buildings, and the relevant design decisions required to comply with the changes. For residential buildings (Volumes One and Two), the changes aim to strengthen the intent and interpretation of the current provisions. Energy efficiency specialist, Evan Logan, will present this webinar, and will discuss:

Why the changes are being introduced;
Overview of changes;
Verification methods for compliance;
New heating and cooling limits to supplement the NatHERS star rating requirements;
What impact these changes will have;
Design strategies for achieving compliance.

This webinar will be relevant for both our accredited thermal performance assessors, and for our building designer members involved in residential buildings.
