'Feedforward','summative', 'inclusive': Feedback beyond the buzzwords | | Thursday, 11. April 2019

Do you struggle to write meaningful feedback on students’ assignments only to find that the suggestions are not taken up? Are you overwhelmed by emergent edicts to provide feedback in ways that are summative and inclusive in an era where final grades still reign supreme in students’ minds? In this session we will discuss feedback as a holistic, ongoing and generative process that has the capacity to be inclusive and authentic and promote success among our students. The session is drawn directly from students’ shared experiences of feedback and includes a hands-on activity where participants are invited to apply the approaches shared in the session.
