Frameshift – Free performance | Friday, 16. February 2018

Witness this FREE performance brought to you by Art & About Sydney and the City of Sydney.

Frameshift is an aerial theatre show that combines vertical performance, contemporary dance and b-boy dancing.

Taking over Customs House forecourt for three nights during the Lunar Lanterns Festival, this performance is the Australian premiere.

Exploring the concepts of community and infrastructure, performers manoeuvre across scaffolding, turning urban structures into their dance playground.

The performance also uses technology that reads body movement and translates it into light projections in a meeting of digital and physical worlds.

A co-production between Australian physical theatre company, Stalker Theatre, Korean vertical performance group, Creative Dandi, and Seoul b-boy group Drifterz crew.

Frameshift is proudly supported by Create NSW, Australia Council for the Arts, Arts Council Korea, Centre Stage Korea and Australia Korea Foundation.
