Ghost in the Shell. The original manga & anime that inspired the new live-action film starring Scarlett Johansson. Be immersed into the world of the future, the world of the Geisha. Build your portfolio with this high end photographic set up, the models will be styled and makeup will be done by one of best french makeup artists Charlotte Ravet.

What to expect:

Professional award winning exhibited photographers Ben Scott & Christopher Getts will give you an insight into developing a rapport with your subject, sharing tips to help you develop your eye for shooting with studio & available light, and expanding your portraiture skills and portfolio.


This workshop will cover:

-Planning your shoot;
-Capturing the essence of your subject;
-Basics of lighting, exposure and composition;
-Getting to know your subject, how to connect with them;
-Thinking about the background and the environment you are Shooting in and how this supports the image you are trying to create;
-Consider how lighting will affect the portrayal of your subject;
-Being creative with your lighting;
-Creative makeup and inspiration;
-How to break the mould with your lighting techniques.

This is an any-weather event and will run rain, hail or shine.
Tickets are transferable but non-refundable. If you can no longer make this event, please let us know.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, and the advertised photographers or guests are unavailable, Sydney Photography Club will endeavour to substitute an alternative presenter. If events or subjects supporting the workshop are compromised due to factors out of Sydney Photography Club's control, Sydney photography Club will present substitute workshop content. If substitute presenters or workshop content cannot be arranged, the event will be cancelled.
