Startup Briefing – how to grow your startup and protect your IP in China | Sydney Knowledge Hub | Monday, 04. November 2019

The University of Sydney China Studies Centre and Sydney Knowledge Hub would like to invite you to join us at a briefing on Monday 4 November.
At this event, you will hear from Justin Gong, Co-founder & Vice President, XAG, and Daniel Cheng, President & Chinese Patent Attorney, Cheng & Peng Intellectual Property Law Office, about how to grow your startup into an international business, how to protect your intellectual property when working in China and how to register trademarks in China.
Founded in 2013 as a tech start-up, XAG is now one of the world’s largest agricultural technology companies, leading in the design, development, manufacturing and operation of agricultural UASs (Unmanned Aerial Systems) & robots. XAG Academy has educated more than 70,000 young agricultural professionals to utilise new technologies and embed sustainable-thinking in farming.
With 16 years’ of experience in Chinese law, Daniel has represented before Chinese courts Pfizer, Rocher, Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk, Bayer, Merck, DuPont, L’Oreal and other international companies in patent litigation.
