Darwin Performance Academy: Enter a World of Pure Dance | Darwin Entertainment Centre | Saturday, 09. December 2017

Darwin Performance Academy is proud to present “Enter a World of Pure Dance’, at the Darwin Entertainment Centre over two days with: a matinee performance at 2.30pm on Saturday 9 December and at 6pm on Sunday 10 December. The performances and costumes are sure to tantalise the audience as they are taken on a journey of the stage greats commencing with performance from the musical Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, to the good old favourites such as ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘Jump’, ‘I’m Still Standing’ and an other assortment of songs. The concert has something for everyone.

Darwin Performance Academy (DPA) is a vibrant dance academy that is in their 10th year, students are enthusiastic about dance and their technique and style makes them feel fit and confident. DPA caters for a wide range of dancers from Little Dancers (2-4 yo), Ballet, Jazz, acrobatics, Boys Hip Hop, and Tinies, through to Senior Performance Dance Troupe.

DPA is owned and operated by Marnette Jan who has been dancing for over 35 years and teaches the CSTD syllabus. As the Principal Teacher, Artistic Director and Choreographer of all performances, Marnette and the wonderful and talented Student Teachers and helpers put their heart and soul into making DPA and its students the best they can be.

DPA puts on a fantastic show each year that inspires and motivates the dancers to give the audience a night filled with amazing performances.
