Getting the Word Out: Media Services for Nonprofits
Part of the Johnson Center's FREE Brown Bag Lunch & Learn series

The Community Media Center (CMC) offers a wide variety of communication tools to local nonprofit organizations, many free of charge — and many you may recognize from listening to WYCE, reading The Rapidian, or catching a program on GRTV. Since their last presentation at the Johnson Center in 2015, the CMC has added new opportunities and programs to help nonprofit professionals further their mission.
Join us on August 28 to learn about the many ways you can promote your organization through Public Service Announcements (PSAs), radio and TV interviews, citizen journalism, information technology, and more!
Key Takeaways:

Free promotional services offered through GRTV, WYCE, and The Rapidian.
Brief introduction to media literacy and its importance to accessing the CMC’s services.
