Everything (and Everybody) You Need to Know to Start a Business | First Financial Bank | Tuesday, 19. November 2019

It's not just what you know, but who you know that makes your business thrive. So why not get the complete story from the beginning.
We will explore a step by step process from the conception of your business idea to your first sale. We will discuss business plans, business names, business taxes. You'll learn when to call a lawyer, an accountant, an insurance agent, a real estate agent, a web master, a consultant, and on and on. Check out organizational tips, tax savings, and traps to avoid.
Even if you've already started your business, you will learn details about making it better, more profitable and less trouble to maintain.
This is not about being a better sales person. It's not about learning new techniques in plumbing or carpentry. You won't improve your brush strokes in your landscapes. You will walk away with an understanding of what you can do to run your business better, when to ask for support, who to ask for support, and how to get the most value out of the support you get.
The presenter is Michael Wright. Mr Wright was an insurance auditor specializing in small businesses since the 1970s. He has been in private practice as an accountant and tax preparer since 1992. With a focus on artisan and professional businesses, he has helped many start ups grow and prosper.
Doors will open at the scheduled time at the community room at First Financial Bank. Program will begin approximately 15 minutes later.  Please feel free to bring food and drinks.
