Bank Holiday - Blur
I'm doing a tour/pub crawl dedicated to my favorite subgenre of music and the reason I hang out in Camden ! It's been 25 years since Blur's Parklife album came out in 1994...and Camden Town is the epicenter of it all started in the pubs and music venues of this North London Borough. We'll be drinking at the pubs that Blur & Oasis hung out and where Elastica signed their record deal. We'll see the venue where The Bluetones formed after seeing The Stone Roses. We'll see where Jarvis Cocker worked for one day and where many of the bands bought their clothes.
This tour will include:
Noel Gallagher's flat 'Supernova Heights'
The venue where the Manic Street Preachers filmed their video for 'The Design For Life'
The pub that Noel would drink at when the Good Mixer was too full of Britpop fans.
The music venue where multiple bands got their start.
The pub where the 'Scene That Celebrates Itself' celebrated itself.
The location of one of the most important record labels connected to Britpop.
The pub where Blur did a 'secret' gig in 1995.
And finally we finish off at THE Britpop pub...the Good Mixer.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Over 18's only.
