  • Just a reminder that this Friday night is the Chant and Chai Cartel Kirtan. This is one of our favourite times of year to sing kirtan coming up to the festive season. The group has been rehearsing for this Friday and it is sounding impressive. See you there!
  • Want to learn harmonium in a fast easy and fun way? One more spot available for Chakra's beginner's harmonium course - starts tonight! https://chantyoga.corsizio.com/c/59f9409b1e6b3752a1e9a6db
  • Brodie de Munk are you interested in going to the november or december ones? x
  • okay ... the band is sorted for November I'm singing first up ... that means I'm not permitted to 'go off' and have to set a nice groove so we don't peak too early ... yep I can do that .... 'Bhakti tears'... by the end of the night there will be some kirtan sweat I guess... I just looked at my flamenco guitar I used in September's Chant and Chai and I hadn't realised I'd played so hard that part of the soundboard is trashed ... ahhh but its worth it be there ... be early please peace
  • When is a good night to turn up. I'm very keen to reengage
  • George ... George ... George ... you must play ... I need you :)

  • Hi, I would really like to attend but can't make it until 8pm tonight. Is it still possible to enter then?
  • We had a great rehearsal on Sunday. A great musical and kirtan line-up. Our food wallah Aparna "Spark" Ladd from #spoonfulofspark reminded us that the night falls on the week of Diwali (the Festival of lights) so we will be celebrating Diwali this Friday with some lovely kirtans and yes there will be light!
  • Here Ye ------------ hope this is a fantastic night. As a core member of the Chant Cartel, this will be the first one i have missed in over four years. I think it is appropriate to say that my reason for missing the event is because i will be speaking in Queensland at a conference organised by contactees of the Andromedan (benevolent) space civilisation, and that will sound unusual. However, essentially i will be discussing the Dharma, Jnana Yoga, out of the body experience and its relationship with the Beings from space and the Inner Earth Vedic civilisation and other mindblowing topics that i have spent my whole life nurturing. I will also be singing some Buddhist chants and acoustic ballads. The current agenda is to bring the field of Identified Flying Objects and the Spirit closer together where they belong and change the narrative. Although my post here may seem off topic, it is important that the community that i am a part of knows that.i am not just the guitar player who sets up the feel and dynamics of the kirtan, that i have another life. Next year i shall be touring the world discussing this topic but i know i alwaya have a home in the Melbourne Kirtan community to come back to. Peace Tilopa 2.0
