CHILD European Tour Fundraiser w/ Merchant/FLUFF/Grasshole | Max Watt's Melbourne | Friday, 26. May 2017

CHILD European Tour Fundraiser '17

Following the successful release of their second LP 'Blueside' in December 2016, CHILD are gearing up to head over to Europe once again. Their July/August 2017 tour Includes shows with ACID KING (USA), ELDER (USA), SASQUATCH (USA) and KING BUFFALO (USA) along with festival appearances at BUKTA (NOR), STONED FROM THE UNDERGROUND (GER), RED SMOKE (POL) and ROADKILL (BEL).

To help the lads get over the line Possum Stomp, Max Watts and Young Henrys Brewing Co. have teamed up to present a 'top edge' evening. A great venue with big sound and great beer.

Joining CHILD on the night are some of Melbourne's finest rock ensembles.

"Merchant are one of the bands who cut through the murk with a sound reminiscent of bands like Yob or even Neurosis. In a world of pretenders the band has been able to craft an utterly punishing and transcendent record that fuses psychedelia with a more traditional sludge approach. The end result will leave you on the edge of your seat. They have an understanding for what makes this type of music great and have been able to capture my imagination" - metalinjection.net

FLUFF are Neil Wilkinson (ex Redcoats), Danny Leo (ex King of the North) and Rhys Kelly (ex Redcoats). Together they create something that only these three individuals could produce. A true rock and roll band in every way and a must see in Melbourne.

A father, a son and a viking. GRASSHOLE are a hard hitting 3-piece known to slam great riffs and catchy harmonies. Swirling stoner-fuzz riffage, peppered with enough time changes to make your grandpa’s catheter explode all over the bingo room floor.

Tickets $15 at the door or from (includes booking fee)
