Muddy Paws Vic #TeamMpdl | Mornington Peninsula Dog Lovers | Sunday, 31. December 2017

Due to popular demand for the Dog-Friendly Event "Muddy Paws" to come to Victoria, Obstacle Racers are now in discussions with the RSPCA and potential course venues to make this happen. So Mpdl thought we would put a Team Together to take part in this Fun 5km event.

SO WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
Well even though "Muddy Paws" is the craziest, funniest and muddiest obstacle race in Australia, it's really all about HAVING SOME FUN WITH YOUR DOG, YOUR FAMILY & FRIENDS, having a laugh, getting outdoors, being active, getting muddy and most of all... Not taking yourself too seriously!

But you still need to be prepared, because we will have a jam-packed morning full of mud, obstacles and fun planned, where you and your pooch will be jogging, climbing, crawling, splashing and wading through glorious ammounts of MUD. *Note: If you feel that you or your dog are unable to complete certain parts of the obstacle course, thats fine... You can either wait for some help or just keep on moving...

  • EVENT UPDATE Obstacle Racers have found a location for VIC. The event will be run at the Peninsula Obstacle Racing Course in Mornington. They also said that they have had some great initial conversations with RSPCA about the event and all things are looking positive at this stage. They will also be speaking with DOGS Victoria and other organisations in the area, about suggestions for the course and dog friendly obstacles that can be included. So thankfully its all moving in a good direction. So next they will look at setting an actual event date (NOT Dec 31st), once they have a clearer understanding of what needs to be done. So Stay tuned.
