Hltaid005 Provide first aid in remote situations | Saturday, 12. September 2020

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response and emergency life support to a casualty in a remote and/or isolated situation. The course is ideal for workers, hikers or bushwalkers who may be required to prepare for and provide a first aid response in locations beyond the reach of timely medical assistance.

Cost: $180 per student

Award issued: Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded the statement of attainment for:

HLTAID005 Provide first aid in remote situations

HLTAID003 Provide first aid

HLTAID002 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support

HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Public HLTAID005 Provide first aid in remote situations courses are run as a two day course from 9:30am to 6pm on day one at our First Aid Training Centre, 251 St Georges Road, Northcote with real remote First Aid training conducted in bush parkland on the second day at Churchill National Park, located in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs in Rowville between 10:30am to 2:30pm (approx).

The main entrance to Churchill National Park is off Churchill Park Drive (Melway 82 C11) and the second day of the course kicks off from the picnic shelter complete with cooking facilities at the Churchill Visitor Area. So pack a picnic lunch to enjoy and even get some bushwalking in afterwards!
