Care Experience Improvement Model (CEIM) Cohort 2 Learning Session 3 - Perth | Perth Theatre | Wednesday, 18. March 2020

In May 2018 Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) published findingsfrom a three year programme to develop an improvement approach that focuses on using feedback from patients and families to systematically improve care and experiences.
HIS is now offering care teams the opportunity to embed the model developed during this work, called the Care Experience Improvement Model (CEIM), within their own team.
The aim of these learning sessions is to develop the skills within care teams to adapt and own the improvement of care experience within their area. Using a range of tried and tested approaches and tools to establish a systematic and practical improvement system.
Over three learning sessions you will explore each of the stages in the care experience improvement model, these include developing effective ways of collecting feedback routinely, systematically reflecting on what your feedback is telling you and then acting on it to make improvements. You will learn about the critical success factors in applying each stage, and have time to consider how it could work in your setting. You will also hear from other teams who have developed this approach in their setting.
*Please note: As this is a free open learning event, accommodation will not be offered unless participants travel is over 2 hours - please contact the team on  confirm arrangements in advance.
