Sale Bootcamp 7 and 17 December | Port of Sale Hub | Friday, 07. December 2018

Following the sold out Bairnsdale Bootcamp, Agriculture Victoria is hosting an additional Bootcamp in Sale in December
The two day bootcamp is suited to those who are young or new to managing a farm business and wanting to forge a long and successful career in beef, sheep and mixed farming enterprises by developing the skills required to respond to risks, such as dry seasonal conditions.
The bootcamp is delivered over two days - Friday 7 and Monday 17 December in Sale.
Participants can expect to improve their understanding of profit and loss and cash flow budgeting, balance sheets and gross margins, planning for and managing risks and financial planning and analysis.
East Gippsland livestock farmer Jen Smith has been a key driver in getting the bootcamps to East Gippsland.
“Participating in similar programs has helped our business. I’m enthusiastic about seeing one of these happen,” Ms Smith said.
Participants register here on eventbrite. If you are unable to register using eventbrite or would like further information, please contact Caroline Love on (03) 5152 0603.
The bootcamps have been supported by Australian Wool Innovation Limited and will be delivered by Meridian Agriculture’s Farm Business Advisor Paul Blackshaw with support from Agriculture Victoria.
The Sale Young Farmer Business Bootcamp has been supported by Wellington Shire Council.
