RSVP to learn more: La Dolce Vita Castle Retreat Tuscany to include 50 Fun Things experience | Fattoria Palazzo di Piero | Sunday, 08. September 2019

Hello, fun friends! Last year, I set intentions on my 50 Fun Things chart for more travel and opportunities to work in "warm delightful places." One of the top joys was being invited to facilitate the 50 Fun Things workshop as part of an amazing Tuscany yoga retreat with Radiant Jane Retreats & Coaching. The retreat was even better than I could have imagined and filled my spirit to overflowing. Many of you have asked about it so I want to let you know I’ll be participating again both spring and fall of 2019 (and facilitating 50 Fun Things for attendees). If you have any questions about what it is like, let me know or I can connect and introduce you to the kind-spirited Jane Reeves, holistic life coach and Heart of Gold author and who expertly organizes and leads the retreats.
If you would like me to contact you to tell you about my experience with the retreat and my excitement for the next retreat, select the RSVP to learn more ticket level and I'll be in touch (or email me at teresa@teresa-thomas.com).Thank you!PS - I've pasted a excerpted preview of some details of the retreat from the Radiant Jane Retreats website:

This annual retreat is held in a perfectly located spot in the heart of Tuscany, in an authentic 15th century castle, on Etruscan estate land, “Fattoria Palazzo di Piero.”  With over 600 acres of productive olive groves, vineyards, wooded stands of oak and pine, hidden ponds and creeks, all of the castle and outside spaces create an enchanting getaway.

Up a long oak-lined drive sits the Castle, full of magic, beauty and genuine character. It was built in 1599, complete with medieval loggia, bell tower and fresco-lined chapel. Grand living rooms and dining hall spaces in the old Tuscan style serve as a perfect location for guests to come together to share food, practice yoga, meditate & immerse in the beauty of the land.
Outside you may play and restore al fresco in the Italian gardens, full of rare and exotic trees and a beautiful swimming pool. Retreat guests have the option of lodging in the comfortable bedrooms of the Castle’s sleeping quarters, or in a villa on the castle grounds.  There are plenty of spaces to spread out and sink into castle life. The sprawling estate offers much in the way of privacy and solitude.
We suggest you plan your longer day trips to Florence, Siena or Rome either before or after the retreat. Spending time at the castle, settling in and giving yourself the luxury to restore and immerse in mindfulness and rest is highly recommended. Visiting the ancient Etruscan villages such as Pienza, Montepulciano, Montelcino, Chiusi and Sarteano is within reach by car, 20-30 minutes away.

Fattoria Palazzo di Piero is located just 2 km from Sarteano and 4 km from Chianciano. Guests will be provided group transportation by shuttle bus, at a group appointed time, from the Rome airport on September 8.
Guests arriving by air from North America, the U.K. or other, should purchase a plane ticket coming into Rome di Fumicino – Leonardo da Vinci International airport.
The castle is a working farm and produces completely organic wine and extra virgin olive oil. Both are considered strictly Tuscan, following traditional procedures and seeing the process through from the growth of the olives and grapes until bottling.  With over 2500 olive trees and rapidly growing vineyards around the castle, the property has become a large contributor to the Agrituristo business in the last decade.  Guests will have the opportunity throughout their stay to learn all about traditional Tuscan methods used in producing the area’s oils and wines.

Every morning guests will feast on a bountiful Italian-style breakfast complete with healthy protein options, fresh fruit and yogurt, freshly baked croissants, breads, jams, cereal, and a lovely selection of coffees, teas and juices.

When not dining in a neighboring hill town,  you will be invited to gather for an enticing 4-course Tuscan meal at the castle,  lovingly prepared by our amazing In-House Chefs. Special food requests are available. Vegetarian options are available. Wine and olive tasting is included.

Jane Reeves leads retreats both nationally and internationally. Her Italy castle retreat, “La Dolce Vita,”  is an annual event, held every September.  Jane has been guiding people toward wellness for over 20 years through yoga, retreating and life coaching. Life, Yoga or Meditation Coaching will be provided to each attendee by Jane. Every day guests may attend classes that include yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. All classes are held outdoors under a sacred circle of pines, to encourage openness, compassion and loving-kindness.  There will be morning and afternoon sessions for connection and gathering. A powerful new moon evening ceremony will be held during the retreat. All levels are welcome and encouraged. Loving-kindness meditations will be part of our daily practice.

My time at Fattoria Del Colle was nothing short of a dream come true. There is a deep, gentle peace that permeates the land and weaves through every interaction and moment. There is a real feeling of home there, a sense of being really cared for and fed so, so well! The beautiful grounds, fascinating history, gorgeous spa, and amazing restaurant are as dreamy as it gets, a Tuscan gem in every way. Jane is a wonderful teacher and human being, she moves me with her ability to guide with not only grounded wisdom, but light hearted joy. It is simple to find center, to laugh, and overflow with love in this place, with these people, an experience Jane creates with just enough relaxation and ease for magic to express itself freely. I knew it would become a place I would return to, and I look forward to the day I get to go back!

Being at the Castle Fattoria Palazzo di Piero was absolutely amazing. Arriving at the castle there was an immediate sense of caring, a strong welcoming; a 'presence'. The intimacy was palpable. It is gorgeous. It is loving. It is fun. I recall a couple days into the retreat, and "needing" to raid the kitchen (stocked with fabulous leftovers), I was walking through the castle as freely and easily as if was my home. And, for that lovely week, it was. What a gift !! What an experience !! Our Host, Bernice and our personal chef were EXCEPTIONAL, every meal was "to die for". Truly, wonderful.
Yoga with Jane was totally awesome. Jane is gentle and encouraging and teaches within the framework of loving kindness.
I loved it. I recommend to anyone that is reading this - and thinking, yes GO!

For anyone who is looking to sink into a organically warm, inviting and nurturing environment, I couldn't recommend Jane's Italy retreat more highly. Jane has created a culmination of mind, body, relaxation, beauty and culture into an environment that is not only visually beautiful but cultural rich. If you have ever dreamed about escaping to the Tuscan countryside to take some time for you and nurture yourself,  please consider this as your opportunity to give yourself the gift of Italy with Jane. From meditation to gentle yoga classes on the Tuscan countryside to amazing local food and traditional surroundings you will experience a memory that you will cherish for a lifetime.
