Frequently Asked Questions
“How do I apply for camp?”
 You will need to:

Register your interest to attend by purchasing a ticket on Eventbrite

Have a complete CareMonkey Profile (including a completed e-form and the CareMonkey profile being shared with Lord Somers Camp and Power House)

Pay the camp fees of $85. (Please note that financial assistance and payment plans are available through the office)

“Ah I can’t seem to buy a ticket on Eventbrite!”
If you are having difficulties using Eventbrite, please contact our Programs & Activities Administration Team at the Lord Somers Camp and Power House Office. Their contact details are above.
However, if you are applying after the 12 July, then unfortunately applications have closed. Camp Diversity is a popular program so we must be quite stringent with the closing date.
"CareMonkey!? What's that?"
CareMonkey is an online portal where participant medical information is securely kept. This means that once you have completed a CareMonkey profile you will then only need to check and update the profile prior to attendance at future Camp Diversity programs. If you do not have a CareMonkey profile, you will need to provide us an email address and mobile phone number. Please provide us these details when purchasing a ticket on Eventbrite.Once you have registered your interest, you will receive an invitation from CareMonkey via email to create a profile. Please look out for it as it may go to your spam or junk mail.
Please note that the CareMonkey profile consists of two parts, the CareMonkey profile itself and an E-form. The E-form covers many important questions that we will need to cater to everyone, so please provide as much detail as you can.
“I already have a CareMonkey profile, will I need to make another?”
No! All you have to do is purchase a ticket on Eventbrite to let us know you will be attending camp and then check your CareMonkey and update it if there have been any changes.
