MODULE ONE: Foundations of Voice
Sat 4 & Sun 5 May 2019
This is a practical introduction to Vocal Physiotherapy for physiotherapists. 
After this module you will have a deeper understanding of the anatomy, physiology and biomechanics of how the the voice is produced.  The practical sessions will allow you to apply this knowledge to assess the larynx and perilaryngeal region and what the clinical implications of your findings may be. 
Technique practical sessions allow you to learn and practise unique manual techniques to treat and manage your clinical findings and alleviate voice and throat disorders.  Learn how to apply these techniques to not only the voice but to many upper quadrant issues as well!
Once you have completed Module 1 you have access to ongoing support including a 60 minute webinar.  This is an opportunity to submit questions and case studies and discuss techniques with Annie & the team.
This is a small course (12 participants max) to ensure you get the hands on support you need.
A comprehensive manual is included.

MODULE TWO: Performance & Pathological Voice

Have you attended Module 1: Foundations of Voice? This is a pre-requisite for this course.
Loving helping your patients and developing your niche market?
Join Module 2 to progress your developing vocal manual therapy skills and improve your confidence to tune up your performers' voices.
This module provides practical sessions so you will become confident in:

Managing the Performance Voice - how to increase a singer's vocal range, quality and joy in singing! 
Managing Pathological voice disorders that create throat pain and dysfunction such as, irritable larynx syndrome, chronic cough, and Vocal Cord Dysfunction

Importantly, you will be supported in growing your niche skills with ENT and Speech Pathology contacts around Australia.
Once you have completed Module 2 you have access to ongoing support including a 60 minute webinar.  This is an opportunity to submit questions and case studies and discuss techniques with Annie & the team.

What sort of clothing should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing.  Females please wear a low backed singlet so that your upper torso can be seen for assessment of the upper thoracic and chest region.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is parking located at Performance Medicine, 135 Sturt St, Soutbank, Victoria, 3006.

What's the refund policy?
Module 1 & 2 Package:  

100% refund will be provided if ticket is cancelled by 05/04/19
50% refund will be provided if ticket is cancelled by 19/04/19
25% refund will be provided if ticket is cancelled by 26/04/19

Module 1 & 2 Package:  No refund will be provided for the Module 1 & 2 package purchase for either course if cancelled after 27/04/19. There is no refund for Module 2 if cancelled after Module One has been attended.
Module 1:
