2019 Diversity and Inclusion in Sport Forum | Waterview in Bicentennial Park | Thursday, 17. October 2019

The fourth Diversity and Inclusion in Sport Forum for 2019 comes to Sydney for the first time. The Forum is a TEDx style event that brings together some of the country's leading thinkers, advocates, practitioners, academics, coaches, administrators and volunteers that are pushing the boundaries of inclusion and diversity in sport. The ten presentations will challenge your thinking across the myriad of issues that impact on inclusion and diversity in sport.
They will focus on inclusion and diversity frameworks for sport, on cultural change, on LGBTI+ inclusion, people with disability, women, mental health, member protection and human rights issues with a focus on the impact in grass roots sport. We live in challenging times where there's an increasing momentum to ensure that community sport reflects community values, demographics and beliefs. Sometimes these collide and we need to find solutions to inclusion and diversity so that everyone has a chance to play. Come and join us for the day for this unique event.
