Protest Assad's sieges & massacres: 5 years since the Ghouta gas attack | Sydney Town Hall | Tuesday, 21. August 2018

This year sees the 7th anniversary of the Syrian uprising approaches and in August, the 5th anniversary of Assad's chemical attack on the people of Ghouta.

Atrocities are still being committed by the Assad regime and its Russian and Iranian backers, and they are intensifying, particularly in rebel-held Al-Ghouta and Idlib.

These attacks, including a new wave of chemical attacks, are going largely unreported. Join us in a show of solidarity with the Syrian people, both those still under siege, and those who've fled to neighbouring countries and beyond.

Speakers will include Syrian refugees, and activist and academic supporters of the original aims of the Syrian revolution.
