Sunday Jam, 11am to 1 pm | Annandale Creative Arts Centre | Sunday, 13. August 2017

Every Sunday the Sydney CI Community gathers in Annandale to dance, practise and have some fun. This jam is run by volunteers from the Sydney CI Community and is open to anyone that has attended or is currently attending CI classes.

Where: Annandale Creative Arts Centre Studio - at the back of the church, 81 Johnston Street, Annandale.
When: 11am-1pm
Fee: $8

As this is a community run and subsidised event, all proceeds are used to support the Sydney CI Community and are invested back into keeping CI thriving here in Sydney.

The final Jam of each month is a Silent Jam, without music or chatting, so as to help bring focus to the dance.

"A jam is a leaderless practice environment in which dancers practice the dance form with whoever gathers—friends or strangers, old, young, experienced, novice

Contact Improvisation is an open-ended exploration of the kinaesthetic possibilities of bodies moving through contact. Sometimes wild and athletic, sometimes quiet and meditative, it is a form open to all bodies and enquiring minds" - Ray Chung workshop announcement, London, 2009.
